An environmental site assessment (ESA) is an effective tool for evaluating environmental impact when acquiring property. Simply stated,
an ESA helps property owners, buyers, and developers answer the question, "what is my risk?". Recent changes to the Environmental Protection
Agency's All-Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) Rule require deeper inquiries and substantiation of data gaps. Meeting the requirements of the AAI
Rule is a prudent means to obtain liability protection under the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act and to
