ICP-MS Isotopic Capabilities
GEL now has the capability to analyze four separate uranium isotopes via ICP-MS. Early on, we started with Uranium-235 and Uranium-238. Our work with these two isotopes initiated GEL’s development of isotopic analyses and helped our clients with difficult projects. GEL's work with Uranium-235 and Uranium-238 was published in the May 2007 issue of Health Physics.
Continued client requests gave us the opportunity to experiment and add Uranium-233, Uranium-234, and Uranium-236 to our Catalog of Services. We are now a fully functional isotopic laboratory able to process a wide variety of matrices. This capability sets GEL apart from many of our competitor laboratories.
