GEL was recently awarded a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract to support a Department of Energy (DOE) site. Prior to the first project sampling event, the Project Manager, QA Officer, and Director of Sales met with the client to verify interpretations of the contract, project specifications, and to acquaint themselves with the Project Team. During those discussions, the client's Data Validators requested numerous modifications to the standard industry data package that were specific to that DOE site. In an effort to "meet and exceed" the client's expectations, a team of individuals was formed to modify our processes to meet their substantial requests. The laboratory members included individuals from the following groups: Project Management, Quality Assurance, Computer Services, Data Reviewers from all sections of the laboratory, Data Packaging and Electronic Data Delivery. Within four weeks, the team implemented all the requested modifications allowing the first set of project data to be reported as requested.

The team responded immediately.....
They re-prioritized other assigned duties.....
They did not stop until it was perfect.....
They delivered the very first package on time.....
